Real Estate Market Watch

The market in 2016 is showing signs of a continuing recovery in the housing market. The market in January and February suffered some because of the repeated weather incidents in the area, but as we head into Spring, real estate sales should increase considerably. Baltimore City has grown a little slower than surrounding areas, but the market is still trending upward. In Baltimore County, growth in the real estate market has been moving at a faster pace. Other counties in the Baltimore metro region have also been continually improving over the last few years. As you get closer to Washington, D.C., you can see more and more signs of rapid economic growth in some areas. Some neighborhoods in the DC suburbs are actually regarded as "hot" neighborhoods again, with sellers receiving multiple offers to choose from.
