SCUTTLE A
hatchway leading into an attic, often found in the ceilings
of closets.
SECONDARY MARKET
The part of the real estate financing industry, which purchases

SHOPPING A CONTRACT
The act, by an agent, of letting buyers know what other buyers
are offering on the same property, causing buyers to bid up
the sales price. This

A deed that warrants the title to a property for the time
a grantor owns a property. The warranty does not cover
or concern the condition of a property.
STEERING
The act of guiding a buyer or renter into or away from a certain
area or neighborhood. An
illegal practice for real estate agents to engage in.
